Attention North Shore Heritage supporters: The home at 336 East 9th St (North Vancouver), known as the James Residence or the Copper Cottage, needs a new home! We have confirmed with Nickel Bros that it can be moved. Ideally, a property within the City of North Vancouver would be great but other locations can be considered. It would make a beautiful coach house (this was done with another house on the north side of Keith Road just off of Sutherland Road). If you are interested, please get in touch with North Shore Heritage VP Jennifer Clay and she will connect you with the owner. Time is of the essence!
Update: We are delighted to report that the Copper Cottage has found a new home very close to its current location and will be moved on Friday, March 13, 2020! Many thanks to all those who responded for your interest and support of local heritage. (More than 60 expressions of interest were received!)
