Join artist, writer and art historian Gary Sim for an overview of his project, BC Artists—a searchable database of over 19,000 visual artists. The North Shore has been home to many of the province’s important artists and Sim will use historical ephemera, documents, images and research to highlight a number of them, including Frederick Varley, Gordon Smith, Alistair Bell, Unity Bainbridge and Gertrude Lawson. This event takes place on February 20, 2020 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Ferry Building Gallery, 1414 Argyle Avenue, West Vancouver. For more information, visit the Ferry Building Gallery website.
