There will be an Open House on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2-4 pm at the Peers Residence, 736 East 3rd St. in North Vancouver’s Moodyville area. This house, built in 1912, was recently renovated, in conjunction with a brand new Passive House development in the back. Through the Heritage Revitalization Agreement (HRA) process, the house is now protected under a Heritage Designation by-law. We applaud the owner for taking on this large project and preserving this grand home into the future. If you visit this property, take note of the owner's clever modification to the upstairs bannisters to meet the current building code while still retaining the original railing.
