The North Shore’s longest running garden tour is back. Organized by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, Art in the Garden takes place on Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, 2019. This year’s 20th edition features 14 private residential gardens in various neighbourhoods in North Vancouver and West Vancouver, 30 local artists and 28 musical ensembles.

From the organizers: “Art in the Garden offers outdoor, landscaped settings as a platform for talented local artists to showcase their work. This year’s event includes pottery, photography, sculpture, and acrylic and oil paintings, with many works inspired by our natural surroundings. Enjoy the sounds of local musicians performing, jazz, acoustic roots, traditional world fusion, and pop. Every garden will have musical acts performing on both days of the tour. This weekend-long event is a great opportunity for people to come out and meet their neighbours, chat with the gardeners and artists, and enjoy the creative side of the North Shore.”
